Wine Racks

The term "wine racks" can either refer to racking systems that are placed in a room size cellar, racks that fit into a cabinet, or free standing racks that are not refrigerated.

First, racking systems for room size cellars are complex and generally made out of wood. These systems are necessary to organize and properly store the wine. Wine racks can be ordered pre made or can be custom made to fit a particular cellar.

Second, for owners of wine cabinet or furniture style cellars, wine racks are usually included with the purchase of the cellar. It may be neccessary at times to replace a rack, or if the owner wishes a different configuration can be created than the original "out of the box" cellar rack configuration. However, for wine cabinets replacement parts are usually ordered for the particular brand and model of cabinet owned.

Finally, wine racks can also take the form of small free standing or counter top racks that are used to hold wine bottles and that are not refrigerated. These racks are usually decorative and are available in metal or wood construction.
